Nearly 2.9 million people attended the 15th Anniversary of the Mud Festival in South Korea which ended this week. The Boryeong Mud Festival began in 1998 to make the public aware of the superiority of Boryeong Mud products, and has been held every July ever since. It’s not for the faint of heart though, you definitely shouldn’t go anywhere near Daecheon Beach if you don’t want to leave soaked with mud caked on every inch of your body. Wrestle and slide in the mud, swim in it, get a mud massage, go nuts. You might even be crowned “mud king.” |
