Toki No Sumika Resort, Japan hosts extraordinary light displays every year, this year's is just as spectacular as ever with 3.2 million LED lights. And while a lighting display of this magnitude might deserve some tsk, tsk, tsking, there's an eco-friendly edge to it. This tunnel of lights is comprised of an eye-popping number of LED lights, but...they're all 100% solar powered. Thumbs up for using renewable energy for the tourist attraction.
Visiting the tunnel is free, and lights are on from 5pm to 9:30pm until March 8. If you happen to be in Japan, you might want to check it out.
P.S. It looks even more spectacular in the winter!
