Imagine a tunnel lit up with 3.2 million light bulbs and still environmentally friendly. Where else, Tokyo!
Toki No Sumika Resort, Japan hosts extraordinary light displays every year, this year's is just as spectacular as ever with 3.2 million LED lights. And while a lighting display of this magnitude might deserve some tsk, tsk, tsking, there's an eco-friendly edge to it. This tunnel of lights is comprised of an eye-popping number of LED lights, but...they're all 100% solar powered. Thumbs up for using renewable energy for the tourist attraction. Visiting the tunnel is free, and lights are on from 5pm to 9:30pm until March 8. If you happen to be in Japan, you might want to check it out. P.S. It looks even more spectacular in the winter! | |
